Introduction
to Teachers' Workshop 1
This first workshop is dsigned to help you to plan
and teach a trial lesson about energy using materials related to
the innovations. In a second workshop you will evaluate this trial lesson,
drawing on research findings, and plan further work. To support you in
planning the trial lesson, in this workshop you will:

review your current practice on the teaching of energy;

learn more about the curriculum innovations;

review some of the research findings through 'stories'
about teachers' implementation of the innovation;

plan a trial lesson which takes account of the aspects
above.
