This model calculates the
power output (watts) in
a circuit from the values of V (volts) and R
(ohms). It does
this by first working out the current from the formula:

and then working out
the power from the formula:

= V I
Another way of
working out the power would be
directly from the formula:
P
= V2 R
The cells are
duplicated so that different values
for the variables can be entered and the results compared.
